Text Messaging Program Terms of Service
1. Program description
Friends of Chandler Torbett (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates a text-messaging program to communicate with supporters and voters on behalf of Chandler Torbett for Washington State House, 45th Legislative District. Messages may include voter contact, get-out-the-vote reminders, election information, and volunteer-recruitment outreach. We do not solicit donations by text.
2. Message frequency.
Message frequency varies.
3. Cost.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier’s plan. Friends of Chandler Torbett does not charge for the messages.
4. Opt-out.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END,
or QUIT) to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then send no further messages unless you opt back in.
5. Help.
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at info@chandlertorbett.com.
6. Carriers.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy.
Your privacy matters to us. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in delivering text messages. 8. Changes.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
